Agenda for 10/16

HOMECOMING - Friday October 16th 2015

7:20 – 7:25        Homerooms – TAKE ATTENDANCE
-Please highlight the students who are absent.
-Bring the attendance to the office or have a student bring it down. 
                        -Bell to release students and staff to gym

7:25 – 8:25        Formal Assembly
                        -Presentation of class reps, senior court, exchange students                              
                        -Guest speaker-
                        -Presentation and nomination acceptance by king and queen candidates

8:25 – 8:35ish   Homerooms for voting-
 KING/QUEEN BALLOTS IN YOUR HOMECOMING FOLDER
-TEACHERS MUST WAIT for Rumsey to PICK UP BALLOTS before going to the gym.

-Bell to release students to the gym. (once all ballots are picked up)

8:40 – 11:00   Class Competition Begins with performance by our cheerleaders!!!
                        -Caterpillar                                -Basketball Shoot Out
                        -Scooter Relay                          - Baseball bat relay
                        -Orange Pass                            -Tire Pass
                        -Limbo                                      -Kangaroo Relay
-tennis ball relay                        -Push up contest

11:00 – 11:40    Lunch/ Mock Rock Practice / Pod Activities
-Freshman and Juniors eat first:  CLOSED CAMPUS ON HOMECOMING, no students should be leaving during the lunch period or any other time.  TEACHERS STAY WITH YOUR ASSIGNED CLASS at lunch- this will help to keep students in the correct location.             -FRESHMEN MOCK ROCK PRACTICE:  11:00 – 11:20                20min practice
                        -JUNIOR MOCK ROCK PRACTICE          11:20 – 11:40               20 min practice
            Sophomores and Seniors to report to auditorium
                                                           
11:40 – 12:20    Switch Lunch/ Mock Rock Practice / Pod Activities
                        -SOPHOMORE MOCK ROCK PRACTICE:  11:40 – 12:00             20 min practice
                        -SENIOR MOCK ROCK PRACTICE:              12:00 – 12:20          20 min practice
            Juniors and Freshmen to auditorium

Homecoming 2015!!! October 16th!!


Student Council Homecoming Info

-Penny-a-point and food drive begin 10/5 and will run through until 10/14

-Student attendance will be counted for:
soccer on 9/29
tennis on 9/24
 and volleyball on 10/6 (ATTENDANCE WILL BE COUNTED FOR VARSITY EVENTS ON THESE DATES)

-Dance Tickets will go on sale beginning 9/18.  Our Dance will be 7:30 - 10:30 on Saturday 10/17 at SHS.  Tickets will be limited to the first 600 purchased.
Ticket prices/sales will be as follows:

9/18- $10    9/25- $10   10/2- $10    10/5-10/15- $15 (all week)    and 10/17- $25

10/9- Class t-shirts/colors

10/12- Spartan wear

10/13- Tourist day

10/14- Tie dye/neon

10/15- America day
